Diabetes is partly … Diabetes is partly consequential. It is (mostly) a combination of genetic predisposition AND bad diet. I should also clear up I dont think public option should pay for “whoops” abortions, but if the pregnancy is life-threatening or due to rape then it should be fine. If we give teens (as someone suggested) free abortions it’s like not holding them accountable for their actions. Finally, IF you get “whoops” pregnant, can’t afford abortion, and don’t want the kid then give it up for adoption.

Which is it? Sex and abortions are OK for people with money, and everyone else, just tough luck, have that baby you don’t want and pay for 1 accident for the rest of one’s life? I know that school of though, the “screw you all I have mine” school. Some Americans are so arrogant and selfish.

And yes, I am pro choice. My now wife and I had an abortion when (ironically) were poor college students. I used my scholarship money to pay for it, couldn’t get books that semester, and barely managed my classes. OUR choice and burden, not America’s

Unlike asthma, cancer, aids, or syphillis, pregnancy is NOT an ailment. You don’t choose to get aids or cancer – you can do things to try to prevent it but a lot of people are genetically predispositioned to it. Pregnancy, however, is a NATURAL state which is the consequence of intercourse. If you don’t want to risk pregnancy (cont)

nesides the … nesides the Bluedogs, and the 3 dems on the finance commitiee DONT HAVE the opower to take the punlic option off the table they are VASTLY out numbered. Obama is being weak yes, but their is MUCH more support for it than without it.
If Obama rallies behind the progressives we will get a public option.
