If some one comes in for emergency care, it doesn’t matter if they got shot in a gangwar, you still have to treat them. This bill just reaffirms that, illegal immigration is moot in this case.

I’m pretty sure most legal immigrants still trouble with English. Interpreters are very important in cases that some one does not speak the same language, a patient could easily be misdiagnosed or prescribed a medication they are allergic to, etc. Language is an important issue to address and would only lower costs by enabling doctors to treat the patient more efficiently and effectively.
Forget the problem of illegal immigration, and think. There are still going to be people who need this now.
